EPF Members Can Withdraw Their Savings For Housing Loan Print E-mail

 

The Employees Provident Fund ( EPF ) had announced that members can withdraw their savings for housing loan payment with a minimum RM600 in their Account 2.

 

The minimum withdrawer for the installment is RM100 not less that 6 months and the maximum amount should not more than monthly housing installment.

 

The Budget 2008 allows members to withdraw their savings from Account 2 and the payment will directly bank in their personal account in monthly basis.

 

There are some conditions that the members that must be followed before they can withdraw money in their Account 2. Members must be the purchaser or builder and the borrower as well as owner of the house or shop house. Besides member also must have an existing housing loan from an approved financial institution.
